The story behind the Lambretta Cigar:

This cigar is not intended for a commercial audience, but rather serves as a heartfelt tribute to Lak’s family and his childhood experiences growing up in India.

The story behind this vitola is deeply personal: The very first motor vehicle Lak learned to drive was a Lambretta scooter, whose license plate proudly read “USV.”

Lak’s extended family would affectionately poke fun at him, giving him the playful nickname “Ullu Singh Vohra” (USV), with “Ullu” humorously meaning “a fool” in Hindi.
What began as a lighthearted family joke has remained an indelible memory in his life, entwined with the spirit of youthful mischief and familial love.

To honor these formative memories and his family’s sometimes-dysfunctional, always-supportive spirit, the factory with careful and precision guided instructions from Lak and approval from others decided to incorporate a Lambretta-inspired symbol on a small number of handcrafted cigars for his own enjoyment and for gifting to family members.

This is not a commercial project, nor will the cigars be sold or distributed to the mass public. It will remain invitation only and circulated globally among the Lambretta Club of which he is a member.

You must be a member in good standing to lay your hands on this esteemed creation. 

Our Dominican Republic factory is making just 100 cigars in the first batch and will ship to Lak who will be traveling to Thailand and India with his family for the Holidays.
